Craig from the HaNZon Percussion Ensemble will introduce you to;

Basic techniques,
How to read a drumming chart
Single finger and split finger styles
Middle Eastern Rhythms with
2 beat cycles – Ayub / Karatchi / Malfuf / Kaligi
4 beat cycles – Maqsum / Saiidi / Heavy Saiidi / Baladi
6 and 8 beat cycles – Cifte teli / Debeke / Chobi
Rhythm ornamentation
Drum “rolls”
Basic frame drumming
Trance drumming
Drumming for a Belly Dancer
Drum solos
Ensemble Compositions.
