along with some suggestions on how a dancer could

Hands and arms
can make or break a belly dance performance! Arms add
expression, passion and purpose to your dance. We
will look at some hand and arm drills to improve your
control, build strength, and increase flexibility.
Then apply this knowledge to some familiar foot and
hip work.

Hip Twists are
a basic movement in folkloric dance, particularly
from North Africa, but this movement can be varied to
create attractive variations and layers to your dance
steps. We will be looking at controlling this hip
movement for maximum impact, then applying variations
to some fun combinations.
