Registrations for Term 2 2009 are now open
Well Term 1 has got off to a great start, new dance drills, rhythms and zill playing in almost every class, with new veil choreographies now half way through, we are having a fantastic time in the beautiful long summer in Auckland!

I have now opened up registrations for Term 2 2009 in all classes. All new registrations for the Level and Introduction classes are now closed for Term 1 2009 - if you would like to join any class at this late stage in the term (except the Drills class), please email me to discuss your request further.

Looking forward to seeing you and your much-loved belly dance items at the swap meet on Friday night, and if you need any guidance regarding which workshops you should take at the MEDANZ Festival in April, please talk to me before or after your usual class.

Shimmy on!
Introduction to Belly Dance - Class starts next week!
The next Introduction to Belly Dance class starts in Takapuna next week, and I am very much looking forward to meeting all of you lovely ladies on Wednesday night.

As the weather is still quite warm, please remember to wear comfortable clothes, bring water, and flat shoes or socks.

If you have a coin belt, please bring it to class, for those who don't yet have a coin belt, they will be provided during class time. Its nearly time to shimmy your socks off!
Coming to the North Shore in April - MEDANZ Festival 2009
Just a quick reminder that the MEDANZ Festival will again be held on the North Shore in 2009. Information on the festival happenings are listed on their web site www.medanz.org.nz

Workshop bookings for members are being accepted now, so get your bookings in before your chosen workshops sell out!

Also not to be missed - the MEDANZ Festival show on the Saturday night!

A market place will be open with all things belly dance over the Sunday/ Monday of the festival, and you really have to join us at the Hafla (party) on Monday night to close the festival. Looking forward to seeing you there!
