am proud to announce the first Medance Student Show -
1001 Nights! will be held for one night only on 6
September 2008, at the Rose Theatre, School Road,
Belmont.
Doors will open at 7pm, Tickets are $25 per adult, $15 per student and Senior Citizens.
A kaleidoscope of dance styles, costumes and colours, will be skilfully presented by the Level 1 through to Level 4 Medance students, as we journey through the many dance cultures and textures that incorporate the Middle East and further afield.
Pre-purchased tickets are recommended for this one night only show.

Veils are generally beautiful to watch. They draw the
attention of your audience in a way that no other
prop can, but skill is required to keep the veil in
motion. We will go through some basic techniques and
tricks to get you going, then develop some veil
movements and combos that you can apply to you own
dance.

Mix and mingle and find that costume/hip belt you
have been waiting to buy, or pick up some fabulous
accessories or dance music from some of the trading
tables. The opportunity for new dancers to
purchase their first costume piece, or for the more
experienced to sell some much loved pieces, and find
some new ones! If you have only one or two
items for sale a general table will be available, all
