Q. I don't really have a belly, can I dance?
A. Absolutely.

Q. Is belly dance difficult to learn?
A. It can be, but you have a great teacher.

Q. What dance styles can I learn?
A. We teach cabaret, classical Egyptian, American cabaret and folkloric.

Q. Do you have day time classes?
A. No, not at the moment. If you are interested in attending a day time class please contact me to discuss your class options.

Q. What do I wear to class?
A. Comfortable clothes that allow you to move, soft flat shoes (not sneakers), ballet & jazz slippers are recommended.

Q. Can I take more than one class a week?
A. Yes, you certainly can. You may take any class that is suitable to your skill level and under.

Q. I am a Level 4 dancer, but I don't want to take the Technique/Improv. class, can I take just the Choreography/Solo Development class?
A. Sorry no. These classes are designed to work back to back, it would be unsafe for dancers to go straight into the Choreography class as no warm up time is provided.

Q. I would like to attend the Medance Belly Dance Party, but I am not an active Medance Member at this time, may I still attend?
A. Possibly. This dance party is for all current Medance members, the cost of attendance is $18 or one click on your Medance Membership Card. If you are not a current Medance member, but are still interested in attending this party, please contact me by email to register your interest.

Q. Do I need a costume.
A. No, but we will teach you about costumes.

Q. Can my young daughter learn?
A. Girls aged 13 and older are welcome!

Q. Do you offer male belly dance classes
A. Not at the moment.
